This stuff is expensive! I’m an insurance agent, but I don’t like to pay premiums any more than the next guy. Yet it is critically important.

No health questions

The only items that can determine your price are; income, age, tobacco use and location. Other than these items you can’t be refused coverage.

Keep your current plan

You can keep you current plan however pay close attention to your premiums. All the reports are expecting big increases in our premiums. I’ve heard increases of 25% to 95%. Mine went up 30% in 2020.

Do you qualify for financial assistance? Maybe.

If your household income falls below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) you will qualify for assistance. It depends on where you fall on the scale. It is not for sure 100% accurate, but it is a good starting point.
